PF30 bottom bracket standard is a variant of the BB30 design. The PF30 uses BB30 bearings preinstalled in bearing cups. The bearing cup outer diameter (OD) and the frame’s BB shell inner diameter (ID) measure 46mm. Because PF30 uses a BB30 bearing, the PF30 system is compatible with BB30 MTB cranksets.
BB30 is a design where the bearings press directly into the frame and seat against cir-clips installed in machined grooves inside the bottom bracket shell. BB30 compatible shells have a 42mm inner diameter (ID) and have no threading.
BB30 bearings have a30mm ID that directly fit BB30 model cranksets with a 30mm outer diameter (OD) spindle.
Our ingenious BB30 to BB24 converter BB which allows the installation of conventional BB24 cranks in BB30 frames. Using our new, non-contact labyrinth seals, Rotor has been able to achieve a buttery-smooth feel along with unparalleled protection against dust, water and mud.
Available only with steel bearings, in black. Available only with ceramic bearings in red. Compatible with all conventional BB24 cranks manufactured by ROTOR, Shimano and Shimano-compatible brands.
Available in both Road and MTB sizes, weighing 118g for road and 120g for MTB.
Rotor’s BSA30 bottom bracket allows the installation of our 3D+ BB30 cranks into a standard, threaded bottom-bracket. The BSA30 is available in black colour with steel bearings or red with Enduro Grade5 Ceramic bearings.
The steel option offers a light and elegant bottom bracket at a very competitive price while the ceramic bearing options are ideal for those looking to shed every possible gram while at the same time acquiring an incredibly smooth bottom bracket. Both versions are available for road (BSA only) as well as MTB use. The ceramic versions come in at an incredible 86g, while the steels comes in at 96g (depending on size and the number of spacers needed, an extra 3 to 9 grams may be added).
The BSA30 is not compatible with BB89 or BB90 frames.
